Cove Cottage is located on "The Point" in the small waterfront town of Colonial Beach. In the heart of it all, just an easy walk of two blocks to the sandy beaches on the Potomac River or the docks on the bayside for sunset. Centrally located to local breweries, restaurants, beach bars and town events all within walking distance.

Not a surface nor fixture untouched, all three bedrooms had dingy carpets replaced with laminate and LVP blonde flooring, builder grade walls got new paint and a bead board cozy cottage wall treatment, new fans, and decor to let the eye rest so you can relax at your beach get-away.  New but still steeped in character is the design aesthetic LWH achieved in not only the bedrooms but the dining room & spacious common area as well. 

When you visit here, you step back in time to when life was simpler and friendlier when neighbors actually say hello to one another. Slow down and enjoy some front porch sitting, a walk to watch the sunrise at the beach or a walk to watch the sunset over the sailboat masts in Monroe Bay at a local brewery. Colonial Beach is a quaint, golf cart community and we highly recommend you check out the local rentals while you're here.

The 1980s called and wanted their all in one tub shower surrounds back. LWH answered. Completely taken back to the studs practically, both promary suite and huest bathroom have reached spa-like relaxation status. Floor to ceiling gorgeous tile in the walk-in primary shower, new flooring that compliments the new wood vanity and new antique brass fixtures. While the new tub and stunning porclain tile surround elevate the guest bath along with all new floor tiles, mirrors, toilet, and light fixtures. 

The Southern hospitality feel welcomes you to Cove Cottage, where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy everything that Colonial Beach has to offer.  This  fully renovated, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that features a partial view of Monroe Bay and of the beach on the Potomac River side from the porch Adirondack chairs. It's the perfect getaway for families or a group of friends to escape from the daily grind for a few days, a week, or longer. Just over an hour from Northern Virginia/DC area

Grab a morning cup of coffee on our front porch - if you're lucky you'll get a close up view of the ospreys, the sunrise & even the sunset depending on which way you look.

There's a brand new privacy fence recently installed to add the coziness around our firepit, lounge sofas, gas grill and outdoor dining areas.
